Blue tiger eye, also known as hawk’s eye is a rare blue variety of the golden-brown tiger eye crystal. Blue tiger eye is seen as the more calming variety of the golden-brown tiger eye.

Tiger eye is the stone of vitality, clarity, practicality and action. 

Tiger eye attunes to the solar plexus center (3rd) the sacral creative centre (2nd), and your base center (1st). It an energizing stone, thought to provide courage and mental clarity by activating one’s intellect and logic.

It’s warming and grounding energy is great for those who spend a lot of time day dreaming or procrastinating, encouraging them to take logical action.

Historical Origin

Tiger eye has ancient roots, used as a protective talisman in Egypt and Rome, with roman warriors wearing it during battle for protection and courage.
How To Measure Your Wrist

Measure the exact size of your wrist in the place where you would normally wear your bracelet.

Use a flexible measuring tape and wrap it around your wrist. Record the inches or cm amount.

OR

Wrap a piece of string around your wrist and mark it where it overlaps. You can cut the string where it overlaps if you want. Then place the string on a flat surface and measure beside a ruler.

How to Care

Take off when showering. Do not expose in direct sunlight for long periods as this will fade the stones colour.
How to Cleanse

Crystals you are working with or keeping on your body should generally be cleansed every 10 days or so.

Run your tiger eye through sage or palo santo smoke to cleanse any prior energy the stone has picked up or absorbed

How to cleanse with smoke:

1. Open your windows

2. Light your sage or palo santo with intention – “I am lighting this sage to cleanse my blue tiger eye crystal”

3. Run the tiger eye through the smoke, visualizing all prior energy releasing out the window

Cleanse with a singing bowl

How to cleanse with a singing bowl:

1. Place your crystal inside or just outside the singing bowl

2. Run the mallet around the rim of the bowl creating sound vibrations

3. Visualize all prior releasing from the crystals with the vibrations of the sounds
How To Charge

Crystals can be charged by way of:

1. Placing in the moonlight

2. Buried in sand or the ground

3. Sound bowl

4. Left in sunlight for short periods (be sure to double check if your particular crystal is sun sensitive)
Set your intention

In order to have your crystal work it's magick, you must set your intention with the crystal.

For example, if you want tiger eye to attune to your solar plexus chakra and increase courage would do something like this:

1. Place the crystal in your left hand.

2. Close your eyes and take a deep calm breath.

3. Visualize yourself surrounded by blue tiger eye's beautiful deep blue glow

4. Speak aloud: "This is my blue tiger eye crystal. It will attune to my solar plexus chakra, removing blockages and providing me the courage to pursue my goals. I am confident and courageous and may this energy radiate out into the world. And so it is"

5. Visualize a deep blue light swirling around you entering the top of your head filling your entire body with blue tiger eyes essence.
