We are re-defining the experience of sensitive skincare beyond the clinical and into the vibrational.

Adisa May Skincare is a sensorial and ritualistic line made for sensitive skin. Every product
consists of high vibrational natural ingredients that offer nourishment for the
skin, mind, body and spirit.

We wanted more for sensitive skin than bland formulas with an overemphasis on a clinical approach, natural ingredients used in insufficient amounts and products that lack sensory enjoyment.

Instead, our products transform the Earths gracious gifts into efficacious, nutrient dense formulas that invite your nervous system into the world of ritual.

Our products therefore encourage you to slow down and engage in loving self-care,
offering you opportunities to deepen your relationship with your skin, yourself
and if you so choose, the Earth.

Ingredient Quality & Transparency

We work with natural ingredients with a preference for biocompatibility with the skin. The benefits of natural-biocompatible skincare are that the ingredients may work in harmony with the skin’s biological processes, reducing the likelihood of adverse and allergic reactions.

We also microdose a small range of essential oils in our product line. The use of essential oils for healing and ritual dates back to antiquity. We thus incorporate essential oils not only for their skin benefits, but their energetic benefits and spiritual significance.
 

In order to maintain control over our ingredient quality and efficacy, our products are handcrafted in small batches by the Adisa May formulating team.

What Is Your Formulating Philosophy?

We are deeply committed to your health, well-being and beauty.

We therefore strive to do no harm to your skin and so we believe that what is put in a formula is just as important as what you leave out.

We therefore do not use:

  • alcohol-based ingredients
  • formaldehyde-releasing agents
  • parabens
  • PEGs (Polyethylene Glycols)
  • petroleum derivatives (i.e., mineral oils, phenoxyethanol, petrolatum)
  • phthalates
  • silicones
  • sulfates
  • synthetic fragrances/parfums

Ritual Based Skincare

Our products are designed to slow you down, so that you have the opportunity to deepen your connection and sense of presence with yourself and your skin.

Our formulas incorporate subtle but specific scents and textures. We therefore encourage our customers to create ritual based skincare routines, using specific application techniques with our products.
